लब्ध्वा तु संज्ञां च कुरुप्रवीरः पार्थं समीक्ष्याथ महेन्द्रकल्पम् ।

19. labdhvā tu saṁjñāṁ ca kurupravīraḥ; pārthaṁ samīkṣyātha mahendrakalpam ,
raṇādvimuktaṁ sthitamekamājau; sa dhārtarāṣṭrastvarito babhāṣe.

saḥ dhārtarāṣṭraḥ tvaritaḥ babhāṣe

19. But then, the foremost hero of the Kurus (Bhīṣma), having regained his consciousness (saṃjñā), and observing Pārtha (Arjuna) — who was like Mahendra (Indra), freed from the battle, and standing alone in the fight — that son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana) quickly spoke.
