महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-5, verse-13

न चापि विद्यते कश्चिन्मनुष्य इह पार्थिव ।
उत्पथे हि वने जाता मृगव्यालनिषेविते ॥१३॥
13. na cāpi vidyate kaścinmanuṣya iha pārthiva ,
utpathe hi vane jātā mṛgavyālaniṣevite.

13. Moreover, O king, no human being is found here. Indeed, it (the tree) has grown in a forest that is off the beaten path and frequented by deer and wild animals.
