महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-5, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ते वीरा बद्धनिस्त्रिंशास्ततायुधकलापिनः ।
बद्धगोधाङ्गुलित्राणाः कालिन्दीमभितो ययुः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
te vīrā baddhanistriṁśāstatāyudhakalāpinaḥ ,
baddhagodhāṅgulitrāṇāḥ kālindīmabhito yayuḥ.
1. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca te vīrāḥ baddhanistriṃśāḥ tatāyudhakalāpinaḥ
baddhagodhāṅgulitrāṇāḥ kālindīm abhitaḥ yayuḥ
1. Vaiśampāyana said: Those heroes, with their swords strapped on, quivers filled with weapons, and arm-guards (made of iguana skin) bound, proceeded towards the Kālindī (Yamunā River).
