वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ते वीरा बद्धनिस्त्रिंशास्ततायुधकलापिनः ।
बद्धगोधाङ्गुलित्राणाः कालिन्दीमभितो ययुः ॥१॥

te vīrā baddhanistriṁśāstatāyudhakalāpinaḥ ,
baddhagodhāṅgulitrāṇāḥ kālindīmabhito yayuḥ.
