महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-30, verse-14

दृढमायसगर्भं तु श्वेतं वर्म शताक्षिमत् ।
विराटस्य सुतो ज्येष्ठो वीरः शङ्खोऽभ्यहारयत् ॥१४॥
14. dṛḍhamāyasagarbhaṁ tu śvetaṁ varma śatākṣimat ,
virāṭasya suto jyeṣṭho vīraḥ śaṅkho'bhyahārayat.

14. Virāṭa's eldest heroic son, Śaṅkha, wore this strong, iron-cored, yet white armor, which was adorned with a hundred eye-like designs.
