महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-27, verse-2

आचार्यवाक्योपरमे तद्वाक्यमभिसंदधत् ।
हितार्थं स उवाचेमां भारतीं भारतान्प्रति ॥२॥
2. ācāryavākyoparame tadvākyamabhisaṁdadhat ,
hitārthaṁ sa uvācemāṁ bhāratīṁ bhāratānprati.

hitārtham saḥ uvāca imām bhāratīm bhāratān prati
2. When the preceptor's words concluded, he (Bhishma), bearing those words in mind for their welfare (hitārtham), spoke this address to the Bhāratas.
