महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-91, verse-26

कठिनानि समादाय चीराजिनजटाधराः ।
अभेद्यैः कवचैर्युक्तास्तीर्थान्यन्वचरंस्तदा ॥२६॥
26. kaṭhināni samādāya cīrājinajaṭādharāḥ ,
abhedyaiḥ kavacairyuktāstīrthānyanvacaraṁstadā.

26. Then, having taken up rough garments, wearing bark clothes, deerskins, and matted locks, and equipped with impenetrable armors, they visited the holy places.
