महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-91, verse-25

धौम्येन सहिता वीरास्तथान्यैर्वनवासिभिः ।
मार्गशीर्ष्यामतीतायां पुष्येण प्रययुस्ततः ॥२५॥
25. dhaumyena sahitā vīrāstathānyairvanavāsibhiḥ ,
mārgaśīrṣyāmatītāyāṁ puṣyeṇa prayayustataḥ.
25. dhaumyena sahitāḥ vīrāḥ tathā anyaiḥ vanavāsibhiḥ
mārgaśīrṣyām atītāyām puṣyeṇa prayayuḥ tataḥ
25. Accompanied by Dhaumya and other forest dwellers, the heroes then departed from there, auspiciously at the time of the Puṣya constellation, after the full moon of Mārgaśīrṣa had passed.
