महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-91, verse-12

तीर्थानि हि महाबाहो तपोविघ्नकरैः सदा ।
अनुकीर्णानि रक्षोभिस्तेभ्यो नस्त्रातुमर्हसि ॥१२॥
12. tīrthāni hi mahābāho tapovighnakaraiḥ sadā ,
anukīrṇāni rakṣobhistebhyo nastrātumarhasi.

anukīrṇāni rakṣobhiḥ tebhyaḥ naḥ trātum arhasi
12. Indeed, O mighty-armed one, the holy places are always swarming with Rākṣasas who create obstacles to asceticism (tapas). You ought to protect us from them.
