महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-79, verse-2

स हि तेषां महेष्वासो गतिरासीदनीकजित् ।
आदित्यानां यथा विष्णुस्तथैव प्रतिभाति मे ॥२॥
2. sa hi teṣāṁ maheṣvāso gatirāsīdanīkajit ,
ādityānāṁ yathā viṣṇustathaiva pratibhāti me.
2. sa hi teṣām maheṣvāsaḥ gatiḥ āsīt anīkajit
ādityānām yathā viṣṇuḥ tathā eva pratibhāti me
2. Indeed, he was their mighty archer, their refuge, and a conqueror of armies. He appears to me just like Viṣṇu among the Ādityas.
