महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-77, verse-9

वंशभोज्यमिदं राज्यं मार्गितव्यं यथा तथा ।
येन तेनाप्युपायेन वृद्धानामिति शासनम् ॥९॥
9. vaṁśabhojyamidaṁ rājyaṁ mārgitavyaṁ yathā tathā ,
yena tenāpyupāyena vṛddhānāmiti śāsanam.
9. vaṃśabhojyam idam rājyam mārgitavyam yathā tathā
yena tena api upāyena vṛddhānām iti śāsanam
9. This kingdom, which is to be enjoyed by our lineage, must be retrieved by any means necessary. 'By whatever means possible,' that is the command of the elders.
