महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-77, verse-8

न चेद्वाञ्छसि तद्द्यूतं युद्धद्यूतं प्रवर्तताम् ।
द्वैरथेनास्तु वै शान्तिस्तव वा मम वा नृप ॥८॥
8. na cedvāñchasi taddyūtaṁ yuddhadyūtaṁ pravartatām ,
dvairathenāstu vai śāntistava vā mama vā nṛpa.
8. na cet vāñchasi tat dyūtam yuddhadūtam pravartatām
dvairathena astu vai śāntiḥ tava vā mama vā nṛpa
8. If you do not wish for that game of dice, then let a battle-game commence. O king, let peace be established through single combat, whether it be for you or for me.
