तथा चरति तिग्मांशुः परेण भुवनं सदा ।
स विमुञ्चतु मे प्राणान्यदि पापं चराम्यहम् ॥८॥

8. Just as the sharp-rayed sun (tigmāṃśuḥ) always moves across the sky, may he take my life-breaths if I am committing a sin.
