महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-298, verse-9

दिष्ट्या पञ्चसु रक्तोऽसि दिष्ट्या ते षट्पदी जिता ।
द्वे पूर्वे मध्यमे द्वे च द्वे चान्ते सांपरायिके ॥९॥
9. diṣṭyā pañcasu rakto'si diṣṭyā te ṣaṭpadī jitā ,
dve pūrve madhyame dve ca dve cānte sāṁparāyike.

9. Fortunately, you are dedicated to the five (virtues/duties); fortunately, the six-fold (obstacles/passions) have been conquered by you. And the two that come first, and the two that are in the middle, and the two that come last, are all related to the ultimate goal (sāṁparāyika).
