महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-20, verse-18

ते तदस्त्रं विधूयाशु विव्यधू रुधिराशनाः ।
शिरस्युरसि वक्त्रे च स मुमोह पपात च ॥१८॥
18. te tadastraṁ vidhūyāśu vivyadhū rudhirāśanāḥ ,
śirasyurasi vaktre ca sa mumoha papāta ca.
18. te tat astram vidhūya āśu vivyadhūḥ rudhirāśanāḥ
śirasi urasi vaktre ca saḥ mumoha papāta ca
18. Quickly dispelling that weapon, the blood-eating demons struck him in the head, chest, and face. He then fainted and fell.
