सत्यं दानं क्षमा शीलमानृशंस्यं दमो घृणा ।

Yudhiṣṭhira said, "O chief of serpents, the one in whom truth, charity (dāna), forgiveness, virtuous conduct, compassion, self-control, and kindness are observed, is considered a Brahmin."
