अष्टौ यं कुररच्छायाः सदश्वा राष्ट्रसंमताः ।
वहन्ति नैषामुच्येत पदा भूमिमुपस्पृशन् ।
एतद्राजन्धनं मह्यं तेन दीव्याम्यहं त्वया ॥६॥

6. aṣṭau yaṁ kuraracchāyāḥ sadaśvā rāṣṭrasaṁmatāḥ ,
vahanti naiṣāmucyeta padā bhūmimupaspṛśan ,
etadrājandhanaṁ mahyaṁ tena dīvyāmyahaṁ tvayā.

Eight excellent, dove-colored horses, approved by the realm, draw it. It cannot be said that any of them touches the ground with its foot. O King, this is my wealth; with this, I will gamble with you.
