महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-27, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ततः कुमारविषये श्रेणिमन्तमथाजयत् ।
कोसलाधिपतिं चैव बृहद्बलमरिंदमः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tataḥ kumāraviṣaye śreṇimantamathājayat ,
kosalādhipatiṁ caiva bṛhadbalamariṁdamaḥ.

atha ajayat kosalādhipatim ca eva bṛhadbalam ariṃdamaḥ
1. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, in the Kumāra region, the subduer of enemies (Bhima) conquered King Śreṇimān, and also Bṛhadbala, the lord of Kosala.
