महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-17, verse-7

सोऽवर्धत महातेजा मगधाधिपतेः सुतः ।
प्रमाणबलसंपन्नो हुताहुतिरिवानलः ॥७॥
7. so'vardhata mahātejā magadhādhipateḥ sutaḥ ,
pramāṇabalasaṁpanno hutāhutirivānalaḥ.
7. saḥ avardhata mahātejāḥ magadhādhipateḥ sutaḥ
pramāṇabalasaṃpannaḥ hutāhutiḥ iva analaḥ
7. He, the mighty son of the king of Magadha, grew, endowed with immense strength, just like a fire (anala) nourished by offerings.
