महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-17, verse-27

एवमेष तदा वीर बलिभिः कुकुरान्धकैः ।
वृष्णिभिश्च महाराज नीतिहेतोरुपेक्षितः ॥२७॥
27. evameṣa tadā vīra balibhiḥ kukurāndhakaiḥ ,
vṛṣṇibhiśca mahārāja nītihetorupekṣitaḥ.
27. evam eṣaḥ tadā vīra balibhiḥ kukurāndhakaiḥ
vṛṣṇibhiḥ ca mahārāja nītihetoḥ upekṣitaḥ
27. Thus, O hero, O great king, this person was then disregarded by the mighty Kukuras, Andhakas, and Vrishnis for the sake of political expediency.
