जरा नामास्मि भद्रं ते राक्षसी कामरूपिणी ।
तव वेश्मनि राजेन्द्र पूजिता न्यवसं सुखम् ॥१॥

jarā nāmāsmi bhadraṁ te rākṣasī kāmarūpiṇī ,

The female demon replied: "I am named Jarā, blessings upon you. I am a female demon capable of assuming any form at will. O King of kings, I dwelled happily in your house, having been worshipped."
