महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-17, verse-1

राक्षस्युवाच ।
जरा नामास्मि भद्रं ते राक्षसी कामरूपिणी ।
तव वेश्मनि राजेन्द्र पूजिता न्यवसं सुखम् ॥१॥
1. rākṣasyuvāca ,
jarā nāmāsmi bhadraṁ te rākṣasī kāmarūpiṇī ,
tava veśmani rājendra pūjitā nyavasaṁ sukham.
1. rākṣasī uvāca jarā nāma asmi bhadram te rākṣasī
kāmarūpiṇī tava veśmani rājendra pūjitā nyavasam sukham
1. The female demon replied: "I am named Jarā, blessings upon you. I am a female demon capable of assuming any form at will. O King of kings, I dwelled happily in your house, having been worshipped."
