महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-41, verse-5

ततस्ते प्रीयमाणा वै कर्णेन सह पाण्डवाः ।
समेत्य पृथिवीपालाः सौहृदेऽवस्थिताभवन् ॥५॥
5. tataste prīyamāṇā vai karṇena saha pāṇḍavāḥ ,
sametya pṛthivīpālāḥ sauhṛde'vasthitābhavan.
5. tataḥ te prīyamāṇāḥ vai Karṇena saha Pāṇḍavāḥ
sametya pṛthivī-pālāḥ sauhṛde avasthitāḥ abhavan
5. Then the Pāṇḍavas, those protectors of the earth, being pleased, met with Karṇa, and thus became firmly established in friendship.
