महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-59, verse-8

भीष्मः सेनापतिरभूदेकादशचमूपतिः ।
कौरव्यः कौरवेयाणां देवानामिव वासवः ॥८॥
8. bhīṣmaḥ senāpatirabhūdekādaśacamūpatiḥ ,
