महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-8, verse-28

पितेव पुत्रान्रक्षेथा ब्राह्मणान्ब्रह्मतेजसः ।
गृहे चैषामवेक्षेथाः कच्चिदस्तीह जीवनम् ॥२८॥

28. piteva putrānrakṣethā brāhmaṇānbrahmatejasaḥ ,
gṛhe caiṣāmavekṣethāḥ kaccidastīha jīvanam.

28. Like a father, you should protect the Brahmins who possess the splendor of sacred knowledge (brahman). And in their homes, you should look after them to ensure that they have a livelihood.
