ब्राह्मण्यां वृषलाज्जातं पितर्वेदयतीह माम् ।
अमानुषी गर्दभीयं तस्मात्तप्स्ये तपो महत् ॥२०॥

20. brāhmaṇyāṁ vṛṣalājjātaṁ pitarvedayatīha mām ,
amānuṣī gardabhīyaṁ tasmāttapsye tapo mahat.

20. O father, this non-human she-donkey here reveals my birth as one born of a Brahmin woman and a śūdra. Therefore, I will perform great austerity (tapas).
