ये भवन्ति मनुष्याणां तान्मे निगदतः शृणु ॥९॥

9. vivarjane tu bahavo guṇāḥ kauravanandana ,
ye bhavanti manuṣyāṇāṁ tānme nigadataḥ śṛṇu.

But, O son of Kuru, listen to me as I speak of the many benefits that accrue to humans from abstaining (from meat).
