महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-117, verse-30

कुम्भीपाके च पच्यन्ते तां तां योनिमुपागताः ।
आक्रम्य मार्यमाणाश्च भ्राम्यन्ते वै पुनः पुनः ॥३०॥
30. kumbhīpāke ca pacyante tāṁ tāṁ yonimupāgatāḥ ,
ākramya māryamāṇāśca bhrāmyante vai punaḥ punaḥ.

ākramya māryamāṇāḥ ca bhrāmyante vai punaḥ punaḥ
30. (jantavaḥ) ca tām tām yonim upāgatāḥ kumbhīpāke pacyante

30. And having attained various forms of existence (yoni), they are tormented in the hell of Kumbhīpāka. Attacked and being killed, they are indeed made to wander again and again.
