महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-117, verse-7

क्षतक्षीणाभितप्तानां ग्राम्यधर्मरताश्च ये ।
अध्वना कर्शितानां च न मांसाद्विद्यते परम् ॥७॥
7. kṣatakṣīṇābhitaptānāṁ grāmyadharmaratāśca ye ,
adhvanā karśitānāṁ ca na māṁsādvidyate param.

adhvanā karśitānām ca na māṃsāt vidyate param
7. ye kṣatakṣīṇābhitaptānām ca grāmyadharmaratāḥ ca adhvanā karśitānām,

7. For those who are injured, emaciated, or afflicted, and for those engrossed in worldly pleasures, and for those weakened by travel, nothing superior to meat exists.
