महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-117, verse-2

नापूपान्विविधाकाराञ्शाकानि विविधानि च ।
षाडवान्रसयोगांश्च तथेच्छन्ति यथामिषम् ॥२॥
2. nāpūpānvividhākārāñśākāni vividhāni ca ,
ṣāḍavānrasayogāṁśca tathecchanti yathāmiṣam.
2. na apūpān vividhākārān śākāni vividhāni ca
ṣāḍavān rasayogān ca tathā icchanti yathā āmiṣam
2. vividhākārān apūpān ca vividhāni śākāni ca
ṣāḍavān rasayogān tathā na icchanti yathā āmiṣam
2. They do not desire cakes of various forms, nor various vegetables, nor dishes prepared with six tastes (ṣaḍrasa) and other flavorful preparations, in the same way that they desire meat.
