महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-117, verse-23

क्षतं च स्खलितं चैव पतितं क्लिष्टमाहतम् ।
सर्वभूतानि रक्षन्ति समेषु विषमेषु च ॥२३॥
23. kṣataṁ ca skhalitaṁ caiva patitaṁ kliṣṭamāhatam ,
