महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-34, verse-34

एवमाश्वासनं कृत्वा सर्वराष्ट्रेषु भारत ।
यजस्व वाजिमेधेन यथेन्द्रो विजयी पुरा ॥३४॥
34. evamāśvāsanaṁ kṛtvā sarvarāṣṭreṣu bhārata ,
yajasva vājimedhena yathendro vijayī purā.
34. evam āśvāsanam kṛtvā sarvarāṣṭreṣu bhārata
yajasva vājimeḍhena yathā indraḥ vijayī purā
34. bhārata,
evam sarvarāṣṭreṣu āśvāsanam kṛtvā,
vājimeḍhena yajasva,
yathā purā indraḥ vijayī [abhavat].
34. Having thus provided reassurance in all nations, O Bhārata, perform the Vājimedha (yajña), just as Indra was victorious in ancient times.
