महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-34, verse-18

धर्मव्युच्छित्तिमिच्छन्तो येऽधर्मस्य प्रवर्तकाः ।
हन्तव्यास्ते दुरात्मानो देवैर्दैत्या इवोल्बणाः ॥१८॥
18. dharmavyucchittimicchanto ye'dharmasya pravartakāḥ ,
hantavyāste durātmāno devairdaityā ivolbaṇāḥ.

hantavyāḥ te durātmānaḥ devaiḥ daityāḥ iva ulbaṇāḥ

18. Those wicked souls who desire the disruption of the natural law (dharma) and promote unrighteousness (adharma) should be killed by the gods, just as formidable demons (Daityas) are slain.
