महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-175, verse-21

अहंकारस्य यः स्रष्टा सर्वभूतभवाय वै ।
यतः समभवद्विश्वं पृष्टोऽहं यदिह त्वया ॥२१॥
21. ahaṁkārasya yaḥ sraṣṭā sarvabhūtabhavāya vai ,
yataḥ samabhavadviśvaṁ pṛṣṭo'haṁ yadiha tvayā.

yataḥ samabhavat viśvaṃ pṛṣṭaḥ ahaṃ yadi iha tvayā

21. You have asked me about the one who is the creator of ego (ahaṅkāra), who is indeed for the welfare of all beings, and from whom this universe originated.
