महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-18, verse-23

ततोऽहमब्रुवं कृष्ण तदा दुर्योधनं नृपम् ।
मृत्युपाशपरिक्षिप्तं शकुनिं पुत्र वर्जय ॥२३॥
23. tato'hamabruvaṁ kṛṣṇa tadā duryodhanaṁ nṛpam ,
mṛtyupāśaparikṣiptaṁ śakuniṁ putra varjaya.
23. tataḥ aham abruvam kṛṣṇa tadā duryodhanam nṛpam
mṛtyupāśaparikṣiptam śakunim putra varjaya
23. kṛṣṇa tataḥ tadā aham nṛpam duryodhanam abruvam

23. Then, O Kṛṣṇa, I said to King Duryodhana at that time, 'O son, abandon Śakuni, who is encircled by the noose of death.'
