महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-56, verse-25

धन्यं यशस्यमायुष्यं स्वर्ग्यं पुण्यं तथैव च ।
कृष्णद्वैपायनेनेदं कृतं पुण्यचिकीर्षुणा ॥२५॥
25. dhanyaṁ yaśasyamāyuṣyaṁ svargyaṁ puṇyaṁ tathaiva ca ,
kṛṣṇadvaipāyanenedaṁ kṛtaṁ puṇyacikīrṣuṇā.
25. dhanyaṃ yaśasyaṃ āyuṣyaṃ svargyaṃ puṇyaṃ tathā
eva ca kṛṣṇadvaipāyanena idaṃ kṛtaṃ puṇyacikīrṣuṇā
25. This (epic), which is blessed, bestows fame, promotes longevity, leads to heaven, and is meritorious, was composed by Kṛṣṇa Dvaipāyana (Vyasa), who desired (to achieve) merit.
