महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-53, verse-9

ततो हलहलाशब्दः प्रीतिजः समवर्तत ।
आस्तीकस्य वरे दत्ते तथैवोपरराम च ॥९॥
9. tato halahalāśabdaḥ prītijaḥ samavartata ,
āstīkasya vare datte tathaivopararāma ca.

āstīkasya vare datte tathā eva upararāma ca
9. Then a joyful clamor arose. And when the boon was granted to Astika, it (the clamor) also ceased.
