सूत उवाच ।
मोक्षयित्वा स भुजगान्सर्पसत्राद्द्विजोत्तमः ।
जगाम काले धर्मात्मा दिष्टान्तं पुत्रपौत्रवान् ॥२४॥

jagāma kāle dharmātmā diṣṭāntaṁ putrapautravān.

24. Sūta said: That excellent and righteous brahmin, Astika, having liberated the serpents from the serpent sacrifice, in time went to his destined end, blessed with sons and grandsons.

24. סוּטַה אמר. אחרי ששחרר את הנחשים מטקס הנחשים, הבְּרַהְמִין הדגול הזה, ישר הנפש, הלך בבוא העת אל קִצו, כשהוא מוקף בבנים ובנכדים.
