महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-53, verse-8

समाप्यतामिदं कर्म पन्नगाः सन्त्वनामयाः ।
प्रीयतामयमास्तीकः सत्यं सूतवचोऽस्तु तत् ॥८॥
8. samāpyatāmidaṁ karma pannagāḥ santvanāmayāḥ ,
prīyatāmayamāstīkaḥ satyaṁ sūtavaco'stu tat.

prīyatām ayam āstīkaḥ satyam sūtavacaḥ astu tat
8. Let this ritual be concluded, and let the snakes be safe. Let this Astika be pleased. May that word of the Sūta (bard) prove true.
