महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-45, verse-24

स तं पप्रच्छ राजेन्द्रो मुनिं मौनव्रतान्वितम् ।
न च किंचिदुवाचैनं स मुनिः पृच्छतोऽपि सन् ॥२४॥

na ca kiṁciduvācainaṁ sa muniḥ pṛcchato'pi san.

24. That king asked the sage, who was observing a vow of silence, but even though he was asked, that sage said nothing to him.

24. המלך הדגול שאל את הפרוש שקיים נדר שתיקה, אך הפרוש לא אמר לו דבר, אף ששאל אותו.
