इति शप्त्वा नृपं क्रुद्धः शृङ्गी पितरमभ्ययात् ।
आसीनं गोचरे तस्मिन्वहन्तं शवपन्नगम् ॥१५॥

15. sūta uvāca ,
iti śaptvā nṛpaṁ kruddhaḥ śṛṅgī pitaramabhyayāt ,
āsīnaṁ gocare tasminvahantaṁ śavapannagam.

Sūta said: "Having thus cursed the king, the enraged Śṛṅgī approached his father, who was sitting in that cow pasture, still carrying the dead snake."
