महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-37, verse-10

सूत उवाच ।
श्रुत्वैवमृषिपुत्रस्तु दिवं स्तब्ध्वेव विष्ठितः ।
कोपसंरक्तनयनः प्रज्वलन्निव मन्युना ॥१०॥
10. sūta uvāca ,
śrutvaivamṛṣiputrastu divaṁ stabdhveva viṣṭhitaḥ ,
kopasaṁraktanayanaḥ prajvalanniva manyunā.
10. sūtaḥ uvāca śrutvā evam ṛṣiputraḥ tu divam stabdhvā
iva viṣṭhitaḥ kopasaṃraktanayanaḥ prajvalan iva manyunā
10. Sūta said: Having heard this, the sage's son (Śṛṅgi) stood as if rooted (or stiffened) to the spot, with eyes red from rage, seemingly ablaze with indignation.
