महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-197, verse-2

हितं हि तव तद्वाक्यमुक्तवान्कुरुसत्तमः ।
भीष्मः शांतनवो राजन्प्रतिगृह्णासि तन्न च ॥२॥
2. hitaṁ hi tava tadvākyamuktavānkurusattamaḥ ,
bhīṣmaḥ śāṁtanavo rājanpratigṛhṇāsi tanna ca.
2. hitam hi tava tat vākyam uktavān kurusattamaḥ |
bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavaḥ rājan pratigṛhṇāsi tat na ca
2. Indeed, O King, Bhishma, the best of the Kurus, the son of Shantanu, spoke that beneficial advice for your welfare, yet you do not accept it.
