न मित्राण्यर्थकृच्छ्रेषु श्रेयसे वेतराय वा ।

15. In times of financial distress, friends are neither the cause of one's welfare nor its opposite, because for everyone, both sorrow and happiness are indeed determined by natural law (vidhi).
