महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-185, verse-9

तेषां तु भैक्षं प्रतिगृह्य कृष्णा कृत्वा बलिं ब्राह्मणसाच्च कृत्वा ।
तां चैव वृद्धां परिविष्य तांश्च नरप्रवीरान्स्वयमप्यभुङ्क्त ॥९॥
9. teṣāṁ tu bhaikṣaṁ pratigṛhya kṛṣṇā; kṛtvā baliṁ brāhmaṇasācca kṛtvā ,
tāṁ caiva vṛddhāṁ pariviṣya tāṁśca; narapravīrānsvayamapyabhuṅkta.

9. Kṛṣṇā, after receiving their alms (bhaikṣa) and making an offering to the Brahmins, then served that elderly woman and those heroic men, and she herself also ate.
