निःसंशयं क्षत्रियपुंगवास्ते यथा हि युद्धं कथयन्ति राजन् ।
आशा हि नो व्यक्तमियं समृद्धा मुक्तान्हि पार्थाञ्शृणुमोऽग्निदाहात् ॥१२॥

12. niḥsaṁśayaṁ kṣatriyapuṁgavāste; yathā hi yuddhaṁ kathayanti rājan ,
āśā hi no vyaktamiyaṁ samṛddhā; muktānhi pārthāñśṛṇumo'gnidāhāt.

12.
O King, undoubtedly these foremost among warriors (kṣatriyapuṅgavāḥ) speak of warfare as it truly is. Indeed, our hope is clearly well-founded, for we hear that the Pārthas were released from the fire (agnidāha).
