महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-185, verse-20

तथोक्तवाक्यं तु पुरोहितं तं स्थितं विनीतं समुदीक्ष्य राजा ।
समीपस्थं भीममिदं शशास प्रदीयतां पाद्यमर्घ्यं तथास्मै ॥२०॥
20. tathoktavākyaṁ tu purohitaṁ taṁ; sthitaṁ vinītaṁ samudīkṣya rājā ,
samīpasthaṁ bhīmamidaṁ śaśāsa; pradīyatāṁ pādyamarghyaṁ tathāsmai.
20. tathā uktavākyam tu purohitam tam
sthitam vinītam samudīkṣya rājā
samīpastham bhīmam idam śaśāsa
pradīyatām pādyam arghyam tathā asmai
20. Having observed that priest (purohita), who had thus spoken and was standing humbly, the king then commanded Bhima, who was standing nearby: 'Let foot-water (pādya) and respectful offering (arghya) also be given to him.'
