महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-185, verse-22

सुखोपविष्टं तु पुरोहितं तं युधिष्ठिरो ब्राह्मणमित्युवाच ।
पाञ्चालराजेन सुता निसृष्टा स्वधर्मदृष्टेन यथानुकामम् ॥२२॥
22. sukhopaviṣṭaṁ tu purohitaṁ taṁ; yudhiṣṭhiro brāhmaṇamityuvāca ,
pāñcālarājena sutā nisṛṣṭā; svadharmadṛṣṭena yathānukāmam.

yudhiṣṭhiraḥ brāhmaṇam iti
uvāca pāñcālarājena sutā nisṛṣṭā
svadharmadṛṣṭena yathā anukāmam
22. Yudhiṣṭhira then spoke to that comfortably seated priest, the Brahmin, saying: 'The daughter has been given away by the king of Pañcāla, in accordance with his understanding of his intrinsic nature (svadharma), as he wished.'
