महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-138, verse-14

गव्यूतिमात्रादागत्य त्वरितो मातरं प्रति ।
स सुप्तां मातरं दृष्ट्वा भ्रातॄंश्च वसुधातले ।
भृशं दुःखपरीतात्मा विललाप वृकोदरः ॥१४॥
14. gavyūtimātrādāgatya tvarito mātaraṁ prati ,
sa suptāṁ mātaraṁ dṛṣṭvā bhrātṝṁśca vasudhātale ,
bhṛśaṁ duḥkhaparītātmā vilalāpa vṛkodaraḥ.

mātaram prati saḥ suptām mātaram dṛṣṭvā
bhrātṝn ca vasudhātale bhṛśam

14. Having quickly returned from a distance of one gavyūti towards his mother, Vṛkodara, seeing his mother and brothers sleeping on the ground, became greatly overwhelmed with sorrow and lamented.
