योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-170, verse-2

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
स्वप्रवाहेहितं नाम स्वप्रायेहितनाम च ।
स्वकर्म नाम चास्यास्ते मित्रमेकमकृत्रिमम् ॥ २ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
svapravāhehitaṃ nāma svaprāyehitanāma ca ,
svakarma nāma cāsyāste mitramekamakṛtrimam 2

nāma ca svakarma nāma ca asyāḥ te mitram ekam akṛtrimam
2. śrīvasiṣṭhaḥ uvāca.
asyāḥ te ekam akṛtrimam mitram svapravāhehitam nāma ca svaprāyehitam nāma ca svakarma nāma (asti).
2. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: That which is desired by one's natural inclination, that which is desired for one's highest good, and indeed, one's own action (karma) – these are the names of this one true, unartificial friend for you.
