सर्वापदां शिरसि तिष्ठति मौर्ख्यमेकं कृष्णं जनस्य वपुषामिव केशजालम् ॥ २७ ॥

The sufferings (duḥkha) that arise from the abundance of foolishness are not caused by general misfortunes, nor by old age and death. Among all calamities, foolishness alone stands supreme, like the black mass of hair upon people's bodies.
