इति तस्मिन्स्थिते यातो मणिरुड्डीय सिद्धयः ।
त्यजन्ति ह्यवमन्तारं शरो गुणमिवोज्झितः ॥ १७ ॥

Thus, as he remained in that state, the jewel departed, and the mystic powers (siddhi) flew away. Indeed, perfections (siddhi) abandon one who despises them, just as an arrow, once released, abandons the bowstring.
